Moily’s latest book on India’s agrarian wealth released Union Minister for Law and Justice Veerappa Moily’s latest book, Unleashing India: A Roadmap for Agrarian Wealth Creation, the first of the five-book series was released here on Friday by Montek Singh Ahluwalia, deputy chairman, Planning Commission. Minister of State for External Affairs Shashi Tharoor and former ISRO chairman K Kasturirangan were also present at the function. Shashi Tharoor commending on the book said Moily took a broad historical sweep and also has given the roadmap for the future of agriculture in India. He does not talk just about economic development but about human development. This book espouses the cause that all development is about people, Tharoor said. He also took the opportunity to criticise the Left parties, saying they are only interested in distributing wealth but not interested in creating wealth. Moily speaking at the end said that he worked on the book for ten years.
